Argentina has at least 15 major projects in its development phase, stressed STR, a global provider of information on the hotel market. He says that is a new symbol of local growth to leave behind the international crisis
In the international market in the hotel industry are the “boom” that is registered in Argentina for the construction of new projects and ensure that it is a new symbol on the growth of the country following the financial crisis.
According to data provided by STR, a global provider of information on the hotel market in the country are currently about 15 projects of significant dimensions in its construction phase.
The new hotels would add 7042 new rooms to strengthen the capacity of accommodation. “The market in South America is doing very well,” confirmed Arturo Garcia Rosa, president of HVS Argentina (see related photo).
Rosa also referred to the strong rally that saw hotel occupancy in the city of Buenos Aires and explained that it occurred because the City regained its attractiveness as a leisure travel destination.
“Buenos Aires is a city where every year we look at the Coned Nasty Traveler magazine and is one of the 10 that are selected for travelers,” said Rosa Garcia, Mercers reported.
